What will we be doing?
We're focusing on a cajun classic: jambalaya.
You'll learn first-hand about the Holy Trinity (celery, bell pepper and onion) and the 3 meat combination that is characteristic of cajun food (sausage, shrimp and chicken).
While some versions of jambalaya might stew all day, Chef Q is teaching us a method that is much more time-bound, making this easily reproducible at home.
You'll also be accompanying your jambalaya with loaded cajun potatoes. They are piled high with butter, cheese, shimp and amazin' cajun flavor.
